About TechUp

TechUp is an online coding school that runs full-time and part-time courses for individuals who want to start a career as a software developer or software engineer. By broadening access to tech careers and high-quality jobs, we strengthen social and economic mobility in Thailand while also accelerating the country’s digital transformation. Our full-time bootcamps target people with no prior programming experience. take them through 4 months of intensive training in tech skills, soft skills, and career skills. and connect them with job opportunities at our employer partners. To minimize financial barriers, we offer our students the option of delaying tuition fee payment until after they have secured a job. In 2024 we are building new courses in both software development and data analytics, as well as scaling up our existing courses. We are looking for an Online Marketing Associate to drive this growth.

Role scope

The Online Marketing Associate’s key mission will be to drive growth and lead generation through creative and effective digital marketing campaigns. Their objective will be to increase awareness, engagement, and ultimately the number of qualified applicants to our courses. The Associate will report directly to our CEO and collaborate with our teaching team to promote the TechUp experience to potential learners.

Key tasks will include:

• Manage and execute social media marketing campaigns on Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Line to build our brand and promote offerings
• Create and deploy email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and convert prospective learners
• Monitor and engage with our social media followers by responding to messages/comments
• Collaborate with copywriters and designers to develop compelling campaign assets and materials
• Analyze campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and optimize tactics accordingly
• Continuously learn about our customer base to refine targeting and messaging
• Work with our CEO to shape our overall digital marketing strategy.

Desired attributes

• Highly coachable and able to receive and incorporate feedback regularly
• Experience working in a fast-changing or startup environment is a plus, but not required

(We welcome applications from recent graduates who have internship or freelance experience in online marketing, and/or a track record leading online marketing campaigns in student organizations or volunteer work.)

This role may NOT be a good fit if you:

• Not a self-starter and require constant oversight and direction
• Solely focused on creative tasks and uninterested in data/analytics
• Averse to learning new digital marketing tools and tactics
• Uncomfortable with ambiguity and experimentation
• Uncomfortable with receiving and incorporating constructive feedback
